A quick disclaimer: La Roche Posay contacted me with the following information. I am not being sponsored by La Roche Posay (although that would be amazing because I can sincerely say I LOVE their products), I just happen to agree with their message.
So, after this weekend it is safe to say that summer has arrived and the sun has begun scorching. With this is mind, La Roche Posay have created a video about checking your skin, and skin cancer awareness.
A few quick facts…
– Skin cancer is the only type of cancer visible to the naked eye.
– If diagnosed early enough 90% of melanoma cases can be treated effectively.
– UV (ultraviolet) radiation from the sun is the main risk factor for skin cancer that has the potential to be avoidable. An estimated 86% of malignant melanomas are linked to sun exposure.
To raise awareness of skin cancer over this summer/holiday period, La Roche Posay have created the video below as part of their ‘care and share’ campaign. The bonus is there are dogs in this video and being a dog lover this pleased me no end.
Check out the video, give it a share and don’t forget to wear sunscreen this summer, its worth it. I just so happen to swear by La Roche Posay’s mattifying face sunscreen, but they have a whole range worth checking out called the Anthelios range.
This is the Anthelios AC SPF30 Matte fluid that I use…
…and click on the picture to find their range.
Again, not sponsored, just love their products.
